1993年横濱ジャズプロムナード第一回コンペティションで、グランプリ及び個人賞ベストプレイヤー賞受賞。 共演者と創り上げる自由で即興性に富んだ演奏活動は、JAZZのフォーマットばかりではなく多岐に渡る。 現在は、数多くのユニットのメンバーとしてライブやレコーディングに参加している。 2014年からは超弩級ユニット「田中信正トリオ作戦失敗（落合康介b、橋本学ds）」を始動、好評を博している。 2015年11月、「田中信正トリオ」によるCD「作戦失敗」、2018年10月「キティ組曲」をリリース。
Nobumasa Tanaka Pianist
Nobumasa Tanaka won the Grand Prix and the Best Individual Player Award at the first Yokohama Jazz Promenade Competition in 1993. His performances are free style and improvisational, he creates them together with his band members, they are not limited to Jazz and also cover a wide range of genres. Currently, he participates in live performances and recordings as a member of numerous groups. In 2014, he started a super group “Nobumasa Tanaka Trio Operation Failure (Kosuke Ochiai b, Manabu Hashimoto ds)”, which have been very popular. In November 2015, he released a CD “Operation Failure” by “Nobumasa Tanaka Trio” and in October 2018 released “Kitty Suite”.
